Breakfast at Joe’s Farm Grill
Mon, Jun 8, 2009
There are a gazillion reviews of Joe’s Farm Grill, and a following of dedicated local foodies that worship at Joe’s feet - but rather than heap on the praise that this restauraunt has most certainly earned (right Drive-ins, Diners and Dives?) - I’ll just do a short show and tell.
Who: My husband and I and our not-yet conceived children that love to run around on the grass.
What: Breakfast. 1 order of WAFFLES AND RIBS and 1 order of WAFFLES AND FRESH FRUIT. And lots of refills of iced tea.
When: 10:30am, Sunday June 7, 2009
Where: Joe’s Farm Grill 3000 E Ray Rd Gilbert, AZ 85296 - (480) 563-4745 (NW Corner of Higley/Ray)
Why: It was a chilly 90 degrees outside and we had time to kill before a 12:20pm movie. Oh, why Joe’s Farm Grill? Because we had been to Flancer’s too many times already this month.
Joe’s Farm Grill is the place we like to go when we want to….
1 - Appreciate the charming, wholesome town that is Gilbert
2 - Enjoy nature & the weather
3 - Impress out-of-towners
4 - Feel like you work undercover for The Food Network
5 - Get on the organic bandwagon

Waffles and ribs? Who knew such a thing existed? I’ve never been for breakfast but Matt & I have been talking about going lately. The BOGO coupon we got at Joe’s BBQ is added incentive, too. Looks good and I love your reviews!

The buy 1 get 1 breakfast coupon we got is available for Mon-Fri breakfast. The Waffles and Ribs are a specialty there - $9.99. My waffle with seasonal fruit was $6.49. I also LOVE the Breakfast Tacos there!

I was at Joe’s Farm Grill during the filming of Drive-Ins, Diners, and Dives. I had my picture taken with him. He was very personable.
It’s amazing how much was filmed and how little made it to t.v.
He would tell people how to bite into their hamburger to make it look better for television.

What’s up with Guy Fieri and Diners, Drive-ins and Dives not visiting Colorado yet? He’s
been to Alaska and Hawaii so maybe he’s got a beef with Colorado or something. Either way,
the show keeps small business going so keep up the good work my man.
