F.Q. Story Historic Home Tour
Wed, Dec 10, 2008
Last weekend I attended the 24th annual home tour of the F.Q. Story Historic District in Phoenix, AZ. This charming neighborhood is located in the Southeast corner of 7th Ave. and McDowell Rd. I met up with some girlfriends and we toured 10 homes. Tickets were $15. Each home was decorated for Christmas and the street was closed to traffic for the street fair and holiday gift sale. These homes were built in the 1920’s-1940’s in a mixture of architecture styles - including Spanish Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, English Cottage, Mediterranean, Pueblo, Mission and Bungalows. Enjoy my pictures! - Becky
