Palmcroft & Encanto historic Home tour
Tue, Apr 7, 2009
I have been to every home tour in historic Phoenix. They have all been very charming and worth the $10-18 for a ticket. FQ Story was my favorite, then Willo and now, it’s Palmcroft/Encanto. I found it strange the association only hosts the tour on Sunday. They should really consider doing a Saturday AND Sunday event. There were many people attending despite the recession and $15.75 per ticket (if pre-paid online).
Click here to read my other posts about the other home tours and when/where they are each year.
The homes are larger than the other neighborhoods and the community vibe is truly like a pleasantville wonderland - with many tasteful decorators. Take a look at some of the photos I took in the slideshow below.
Update: Next tour is in March of 2011. More info here: http://www.encantopalmcroft.org/home-tour/index.html
As an alternative I’d suggest going to the Willo tour which will be on Feb. 14 2010 - http://willohistoricdistrict.com/
